Time has REALLY gotten away from me. How is my baby almost 5 months old already?! I know, I say that on every blog post.
Brystol is growing so fast. She really is the happiest little thing. Always laughing, smiling and talking away. She loves looking outside and recently with the warmer weather, being outside. We have been doing yard work like mad the last few weekends with the nice weather that we've had. Last weekend I bundled B up in her warm fleece star that Grammy bought her and had her in the stroller next to me as I was out in the yard. She sat out there for almost 2 hours just looking around and taking it all in. She LOVED it!

This was from the week we had an AWESOME snow storm here in the NW. Snow is pretty funny, don't you know?! |
In February we took a nice little day trip up to Silver Falls State Park. B was amazed by the few waterfalls we could see. (Don't mind the different picture qualities here on this blog. A few photo's are with my big camera, the rest are from my phone.)
At around 13 weeks I notice little miss had been showing quite a bit of interest in us when we ate. I decided I wanted to give some food a try. She LOVED oatmeal and gobbled it down. A few weeks later I decided to go ahead and make her some baby food and we started on some veggies. She LOVED it and is now eating Carrots, sweet potatoes, peas, green beans, squash, apples and soon we will start on more fruits. Peaches, pears, mango...all that yummy stuff. I enjoy making her food rather then having to buy the store bought stuff. It's SO easy and so much more healthy for her little self.
In February B and I took a road trip to eastern, OR for a funeral. That girl took to that road trip like a little CHAMP! We only had to stop to change and feed her. The rest of the time she was completely content looking out the window or sleeping. She got to meet her Great Uncle's and 2nd and 3rd cousins.

Hanging out in her Valentine's Day present from Grammy and Papa. She love this thing!!

At Brystol's 4 month doctor appointment in February she was 16.5lbs and 25.5 inches long. Growing like a little weed!! She took her shots like a champ with no tears and never had a reaction. YAY! |

Business in the front, party in the back! |
Speaking of sleeping. She is still a sleeping champ! I usually put her down around 830pm and she normally sleeps for around 12 hours. She is also still taking 2-3 hour naps during the day, usually twice a day and sometimes a little cat nap between her afternoon nap and bed time. The girl is like her Daddy and loves her sleep. I'm so thankful she's a great sleeper. I always feel bad talking to other Mom's about her sleeping pattern. And I cringe when I hear about Mom's with children around the same age or older that are still only getting 2-3 hours in a stretch. SO THANKFUL!

Last week we decided to take an impromptu trip to the beach on another nice day. It's SO nice living so close to the beach again! Brystol watched the seagulls the whole time we were there. It was so cute and nice to get out for a bit.
We are now working on sitting up. She does great..until she spots her toes. Then it's time to bend over her little buddah belly and suck on them! Lol...

Happy St.Patrick's Day! |
